About the Conference

April 19 – 22, 2016 Puerto Rico

The annual CSIA Executive Conference is the highlight of the professional year, when over 500 system integrators and industry partners meet to network, hear outstanding speakers, share best practices, and learn about new products and services. In addition to strong educational programming, the Partner Industry Expo and Reception will showcase the latest products and services from industry supplier, manufacturer and service provider members. There are several excursions planned, as well, to give you an opportunity to take in Puerto Rico from land and water.

Every year, as word spreads about the benefits of attending and those who have participated in the past come back, registration grows! Join fellow SIs and industry partners from around the globe to build connections, exchange ideas and have fun!

Founded in 1994, CSIA is a not-for-profit, global trade association that seeks to advance the industry of control system integration. Control system integrators use their engineering, technical and business skills to help manufacturers and others automate their industrial equipment and systems. CSIA helps members improve their business skills, provides a forum to share industry expertise, and promotes the benefits of hiring a certified control system integrator. CSIA has more than 500 members in 32 countries.

What you get . . .

Executive Conference registration includes breakfast on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as well as lunch on Wednesday and Thursday. Access to all speaker presentations, Opening Reception, Industry Expo & Reception, and the Awards Reception & Dinner are also included. Additional fees are required for the bioluminescent bay kayak trip, Friday plant tour, Fun Run/Walk and the closing reception on the beach.

Spouses, guests and children

Spouses and guests must purchase a Guest registration to attend any Conference function. Guest registration includes the Opening Reception, Industry Expo and Reception, Awards Reception and Dinner only. Additional fees are required for the bioluminescent bay kayak trip, Thursday spouse/guest tour, Friday plant tour, and the closing reception on the beach.

Children under 18 may attend Conference events at no charge. Additional fees required for children to participate in the Thursday spouse/guest tour, Saturday plant tour, Fun Run/Walk and closing reception on the beach. Please contact the CSIA office to register guests under 18.

The Gran Melia offers a private and personalized transport service from the San Juan main airport to the hotel. Parking

24-hour valet parking is available at the Gran Melia main entrance. Self-parking is also available.

Conference mobile app

Speaker handouts and slides will be available via the conference mobile app one week before the conference. Watch for emails from CSIA with directions for accessing and downloading the app. The app is a handy way to keep track of the conference program and schedule changes, network with fellow registrants and navigate through the exhibit hall.

Internet access

Complimentary Wi-Fi internet access, sponsored by Bedrock, is available in guest rooms, public areas and convention area at the Gran Melia. Access "CSIA2016" and use the password "bedrock".

Dress casually

Leave your ties and business suits at home! Business casual is the recommended attire for the 2016 CSIA Executive Conference. Please note bathing suits are not permitted in the lobby or restaurants of the Gran Melia Resort. There are no attire restrictions in the pool bar.

If you must cancel . . .

Confirmed registrations must be cancelled by Friday, April 8, to receive a refund of the amount paid less a $50 cancellation charge. No refunds shall be made for cancellations after April 8.

Partners: Please entertain your clients outside of CSIA programs

We encourage you to make the most of your conference experience, but restrict large group activities that overlap with Executive Conference programming.
